Diving into the Deep
/diving into the deep - refining my life
Life requires a certain refinement, if you want to live within a stable mind and soul. Otherwise, we lose ourselves. Refining our life means aspiring to the grace and hope that has been offered to us through Christ - his love and sacrifice that allows us to live in freedom of spirit. A freedom that gives us the daily opportunity to explore life, empowering ourselves towards perfection of character, allowing the mistakes of our past to shape us and reshape our dreams and visions. Sometimes this requires pruning our lives by clipping away habits that do not take us to where we want to go and instead putting our energies towards what we truly need in this moment.
I’ve recently begun studying for my Ayurveda Practitioner Certificate here in the USA with Kerala Academy. It is the second level of Ayurvedic studies of the three levels recognized by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. I am beyond grateful to be joining a group of likeminded individuals that not only seek living naturally, healing internal and external conflicts themselves, but who also pursue this deeper knowledge in order to teach others that they too can live a life of health and vitality that is a stepping stone to living a life of purpose and passion. By continuing my education in Ayurveda, I will be able to further offer my community health and healing at a much greater level than I am now as a counselor.
Dive into the deep, with all the fears and uncertainties. Reach below the surface. Watch yourself come out stronger and more in love with your life. There are plenty of excuses to give as to why we cannot pursue something. As someone who has survived pain & loss w/ a full schedule and with only so much bodily energy, I can come up with many excuses. What about finding the reason and not the excuse; it comes from having a purpose greater than oneself. Live as an active participant. Find a way, and you’ll be creating your reason to wake up in the morning. Life offers us many choices. What choice are you making today that will add to your present and future happiness and benefit someone in need (including your family.
