Our shea butter is sourced from FairTale Ghana, a cooperative dedicated to empowering women in Ghana through sustainable harvesting practices. By purchasing our products, you contribute to the economic empowerment and well-being of these women and children. Additionally, our frankincense hydrosol is sourced from Boswellness, a company committed to ethical and environmentally responsible distillation processes, sourcing certified organic resins from the farmers in Somaliland, and steam distilled in copper stills in Vermont. Our Process

Our journey begins with raw shea and cocoa butters, lovingly hand-harvested by the women cooperatives of Ghana, fostering community empowerment and enriching our skincare with their nurturing qualities. We take these precious butters and blend them with various raw sesame and olive oils, sourced from the sun-drenched fields of Europe, arriving from certified organic and cold-pressed suppliers. These raw oils are gently infused with herbs from Frontier Co-op, cultivated organically with meticulous care in fertile soils. As the crowning glory, come our hydrosols known to penetrate the skin, softening and toning the skin and allowing deeper penetration of the skincare. From the hills of Northern Somalia (Somaliland), our frankincense and myrrh hydrosols grace us as sacred gifts, their resins distilled in copper alembic stills in the US, offering a protective and purifying ally for your skin. Each product is meticulously crafted with raw, gentle, and minimal ingredients, perfectly suited even for the most sensitive of skins. From the Creator
As the sole creator, my intention is to offer more than skincare but skin and soul care. Growing up as the granddaughter of a thriving entrepreneur who sold Jafra in the late 90s and being raised by a mother who generously shared her prized royal jelly at a young age, I naturally found myself drawn to the art of self-care, particularly in tending to facial skincare routines. I have been crafting my own skincare for over a decade, utilizing the raw ingredients that surrounded me. I believe that skincare is soul care and should be an artful expression of self-love and a celebration of the resilience within every woman. Unrefined raw Shea Butter (Fair Trade)
Shea butter is an ideal foundational ingredient for skincare, offering protection, nourishment, rejuvenation, and deep hydration. Its rich nutritional profile includes essential vitamins, fatty acids (EFAs), cinnamic acid, allantoin, antioxidants, and phytosterols.
This shea butter's oleic acid content helps balance the skin’s pH, aiding in the reduction of hyperpigmentation and promoting even skin tone. Despite its rich and greasy feel, shea butter is comedogenic and, with daily use, creates vibrant, smooth skin. Its moisturizing properties support skin elasticity and provide a barrier against environmental damage, making it perfect for comprehensive skin care.
Unrefined raw Sesame Oil (Certified Organic)
Grounding and fragrant, sesame oil is not only a culinary delight but also incredibly beneficial for the skin. This ancient and beloved oil is an Ayurvedic favorite, known as the “king of oils” due to its numerous uses. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins E, A, B, K, and essential fatty acids (EFAs), as well as significant amounts of lignans such as sesamin, sesamolin and sesaminol all of which exhibit antioxidative activity. Sesame oil has also been shown to lower the severity of pain associated with inflammation as well as protecting the skin from UV radiation.
We use organic, cold-pressed sesame oil that is rich, warming, and unrefined, preserving the full nutritional benefits of the sesame seed. Its essential fatty acids, such as oleic, stearic, palmitic, and linoleic acids, deeply moisturize and hydrate the skin, supporting tone and elasticity.
