Who you are is whose you are

Christmas is a joyous time. It’s a time set aside in remembrance and celebration of what God has done in this life for us, giving us a savior - giving us redemption from sin of which we all so gravely need. Consider its also a time to remember ourselves and who we are becoming, or how we don’t want to become. Rather than dwelling on things we cannot change, make an effort to seek that which can offer sustenance to your soul. Uphold yourself in honor, quiet the fearful child within, just enough to unmask the mass of clay God so desperately wants to mold. Forgetting the things which are in the past, the things that hold painful memories. Forgetting all that troubles your mind and instead remembering who you are. Who are you? Well, you’re God’s little child. And there is always a place in His hand for yours. There’s always a chance for growth; you are a book unfolding. If you let Him, He will take you to places you never thought possible. Believe in Him and you’ll start to again, believe in yourself. Everything you desire to become are already seeds inside you waiting to grow and mature. Do yourself a favor this coming end of the year and remind yourself who you are - you are not what others have done to you, you are not how others have made you feel or how they perceive you, you are not your mistakes. You’re a confident being full of love and light because the one who created consciousness and love and life, the very light lives inside of you. Who are you? You are God’s child. You are wanted, needed & loved by maker of the stars! That makes me want to dance! So, as you lay your head down tonight, let God’s confidence & light become yours.
