Chamomile tea & Ghee

I see chamomile tea and fresh ghee that was patiently made from raw milk - - the usual cream collected, whipped into butter, simmered and strained. Made with my older daughter, who loved squeezing the butter until all buttermilk was out. Continually I strive to find the balance between becoming and just being.. wanting to live only within the moments of my quiet life, hidden - - but then I’m reminded a lamp does not hide under a cloth, it must be available with its light if it knows God has more use for it then only what’s there in front. So there’s that war between hanging back and folding in, wanting to bring inspiration to others. As the ghee sits there, and it’s left over buttermilk (unseen in photo), I’m reminded that maybe we can have the ghee and the buttermilk but we won’t be consuming both at the same time. Slowing down my life. My God is faithful, His promise is true. I speak to the mountain, it’s time to move - - it’s time to be and yes, everything in it’s time.

Journeying together,

Kari
