Confident Woman - A Poem

/confident

A woman. she’s on a mission. she don’t need permission, to do her thing.
Watch her fly. hold her down, you can try. yet be reminded, she’s a diamond in the sky.
She shines bright, she’s catastrophe. building castles, staying free.
Destroying bondages, keeping it real. nobody can come and tell her how she should feel.
A woman who is busy growing. she’s healing, she’s enough. she may cry when she’s happy, but her fight, it is tough.
She doesn’t back down, so impassioned with life. understands there’s no victory without some of the strife.
A woman without veil, no need to hide. if you don’t like her, no one asked you to confide.
A woman who strives for more when others say she shouldn’t. reaches for the stars even when others wouldn’t.
Who confidently rises despite her past. her faith in a God whose mercy forever lasts.
She’s far from perfect, shes makes some mistakes. her beauty made up of all that grace.
Take her or leave her, she’s a rose with the thorn. a beauty so rare, all her enemies mourn.
